Capitol Food Company upgrades its ingredients plant in California

The supplier of conventional and organic ingredients Capitol Food Company has made significant investments in its plant in La Mirada, California. The mixing and packaging plant shows improvements in efficiency and performance with these upgrades.

The installation contains three dry mixing lines for the ingredients which are fed by programmable logic control systems (PLC). These ensure that the blends used in bakery mixes, bases, coatings and flavors are accurate every time they are produced.
