Raleigh, North Carolina-based Veranex added another arrow to its quiver of medical technology contracting services this week with the acquisition this week of Worrell, a global design company specializing in healthcare products. The Minneapolis-based company joins Ximedica, Quartesian, Boston Healthcare Associates, Experien Group and IMM Research in the Veranex portfolio, backed by investment firm Summit Partners.

In June 2021, private equity firm Summit Partners acquired Boston Healthcare Associates, Ximedica and Quartesian and integrated them into Veranex. The Worrell acquisition was preceded by Experian Group in July 2021 and IMM Research in October 2021.
