Nouryon begins production at new advanced organic peroxide site in Tianjin


Nouryon has started large-scale production at its new organic peroxide site in Tianjin, China, to meet growing demand from packaging, paints and coatings, and construction customers in the region.

The site consists of three manufacturing plants and is equipped with the latest technology in safety, energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Nouryon is a world leader in organic peroxides, which are essential in the manufacture of a wide range of polymers used in the PVC industry and composites for products such as window profiles, artificial marble, coating resins. , blood bags and other medical packaging materials.

In Asia, Nouryon produces organic peroxides in Ningbo and Tianjin in China; Asa, Japan; and Mahad, India. Recently, Nouryon also announced the start-up of a new factory in Ningbo, supplying two key intermediates for the production of polymers and composites.
